Jessica McAleese

Jessica is an organic farmer and wild earth enthusiast, born and raised in Idaho and deeply committed to the Salmon community. When not knee deep in veggies or covered in soil and sunshine, she often can be found seeking out projects that help build the social, economic and environmental health of this region, and maybe even a little adventure.

Justin Saydell

Justin is a Senior Project Planner working on habitat restoration in the Upper Salmon Basin. Outside of work, you can find him doing things…lots of things, generally outside.

Joe Stewart

Joe hails from Seattle, Washington and loves adventuring outside, hiking, gardening, and befriending every dog he meets.  He originally joined the tool library to access tools to work on a list of house projects (the list still doesn’t seem to be getting any shorter) and he loves being part of a community that helps make toolsaccessible to everyone in Salmon.  Joe is also a professional competitive bagpiper and spends time travelling to competitions throughout the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

John Loffredo

Born and raised with an aptitude for thrifty, make-it-work, suburban homesteading in the wooded countryside of East Hampton, CT, John has been carrying those essential life lessons with him from VT to AK to Lemhi County where he's called home—at least at heart—since first arriving in the Salmon Valley as fish tech for IDFG in 2015. Now, as a homeowner with his own suburban homestead, John has a passion for up-cycling everything from tools, hardware, and food scraps into compost and a backyard gardener's happy place. When not talking water, fish, or gardening, you can find him at this second home - the regional singletrack and two-tracks putting in miles on the path toward relentless forward progress.

Matt Mayfield

Matt makes maps for Trout Unlimited and moved to Salmon in 2021. He loves having the tool library as a resource to support all of his home improvement projects but he’d much rather be fishing, rafting, mountain biking, snowboarding, cross country skiing, or even just gathering firewood.
